No Jewelry (stud earrings are acceptable)
No Distracting Hair Accessories (ex. Bandanas, unsecured clips, big
scrunchies)
HAIR REQUIREMENTS
BALLET – Hair must be pulled back
into a slick bun (part or straight back)
Ballerinas should always carry extra pins, elastics, hairnets and
hairspray or gel.
JAZZ/ TAP/ LYRICAL/ TURNS – Hair
must be pulled back and out of face (ex. Ponytail)
HIP
HOP – Hair down is acceptable
JAZZ/

Any fitted dancewear is acceptable. Dance Pants/ Capri pants/
Shorts/ Tights Tanks/ Half-tops/ Leotards.

note: At the End of the year Concert, Girls must wear tan jazz
shoes and Boys must wear black jazz shoes
TAP– Black tap shoes (no heel) any brand is acceptable

Lyrical classes must wear dance paws

Pre Ballet to Advanced we will be following a professional dress code.
This will allow teachers to see muscle movement clearly without distraction.
A professional dress code also allows students to feel a sense of
unity and pride in their ballet class(es). Each level has a corresponding
colour leotard. Please see below for style numbers and your class
colour.
**During the month of September students are encouraged to wear a
leotard from previous years until class placements are solidified.
